Urdenbach is located in the south of Düsseldorf and has around 10,500 inhabitants. It borders in the north on the Benrath district and the castle park, in the east on the Garath district, in the west on the Rhine and in the south on the floodplain landscape, which is not allowed to be built on as a nature reserve and floodplain and is therefore perfect for long walks or jogging sessions offers. Urdenbach is characterized by rural architecture and half-timbered houses from the 16th century still adorn the town center today.

The St. Florian pharmacy, the Pass bakery, a small supermarket and other shops for daily needs are within walking distance of around 200 meters. There are also doctors from a wide range of disciplines and the Sana Hospital Benrath is directly adjacent to Urdenbach.
