Our light-filled guesthouse, just a short stroll from the Aare River and Aarburg's historic old town, offers a peaceful and welcoming retreat for guests who want to experience the charm of the region.

Whether you're looking to relax, read, work remotely, or explore nature and local culture, you'll feel right at home. Scenic walking, hiking, and cycling trails start right outside the front door, making it easy to discover the beauty of the surrounding area.

The guesthouse is situated next to our family home and has its own private entrance, ensuring both independence and privacy. It was once the studio of a Swiss painter couple and still retains its unique artistic character.

On the ground floor, you'll find a spacious living area with comfortable seating, a dining space, and a small terrace overlooking the garden. The bright bedroom is located on an open gallery, accessible via a staircase.
The guesthouse also features a private bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as a newly fitted kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, and kettle.

For your entertainment, you'll find a TV, books, board games, a cassette player, a CD player, and a radio. Or simply step outside and enjoy the peaceful surroundings—the nearby river, nature, and garden provide the perfect setting to unwind and recharge.
